Being that the story is still in what I would like to think as Early Progression, these profiles aren't finished and only offer information through what has happened so far.
Main Characters / Protagonists
Kagura Yume - The main character and heroine of the story. Although a somewhat simple-minded girl who pales in comparison to her perfect & talented twin sister, Yume embodies the power to save two worlds! As the new Miko she is to gather up the four guardians of her own world in order to save them both. From the beginning of the story it is laid down that she believes in magic and casts protection spells on herself while she sleeps -- which is why she was probably more accepting of her newfound abilities compared to other girls might be. Yume has a crush on Aoi, a boy at her school who is a student council member along with her sister, and who is also one of her protectors from this world.
Sariu Rekka - A fire-haired boy from Yume's dream who must protect the new Miko. He is an embodiment of the guardian Suzaku enabling him to control fire. He already knew of his abilities in the beginning of the manga and comesout of the mirror with Rii. He is also the one who destroyed the mirror to begin with. Although at first he is weary of Yume being the new Miko, he accepts her rather quickly and falls for her.
Mizuo Aoi - Yume's main love interest in the beginning of the story and Student Council member; and just like her, he expressed interest in magic when he healed her after she fell down. Aoi is also part of the four guardians that protect the Miko, Seiryuu which enables him to control water. In the beginning of the story he didn't know of his powers, and didn't receive them until the second chapter when Yume was stuck in a costume van that was on fire. He is definitely interested in Yume.
Kurobe Sousesa - Another of the four guardians of the Miko, the warrior of Genbu. He, like Rekka, already knew of his abilities and was the keeper of the mirror that is the gateway between both worlds. He has a brash behavior and says what he thinks, as well as smokes. He has a special relationship with Mashiro, a TV idol.
Rii - The tiny girl who came out of the mirror with Rekka. Seems to be the one who makes orders for the Miko and her guardians since she knows a lot about the mission and what everyone must do. Rii manipulated the memories of Yume's family so they believe rekka is her cousin while she, herself, made Yume's closet into her home.
Kagura Hime - Yume's twin sister who seems to do everything right. She is a member of the Student Council at school, has a perfect body, perfect grades and has a lot of guys who like her. Although both twins are different from one another they are always worried about eachother. In the 7th chapter of the manga Hime is taken away ...
